Xu Yuan

Assistant Professor

Xu Yuan is a Hardy Edmiston Endowed Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Informatics at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He received B.S. degree from Nankai University, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree from the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Virginia Tech, in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada. He was a receipt of NSF CRII Award and NSF CAREER Award. His research interests include security and privacy, AI and machine learning, wireless networks, and mobile computing.
